Dial-Up Connection
Host Europe Connect is a dial up account providing unlimited access via a low cost 0845 number. There is no signup procedure, all that you need to do is setup a new dial-up connection or edit your existing connection.
To send mail via this connection edit your email client for the SMTP server to be smtp.hosteurope.com.
Windows 95/98/ME Dial-Up Connection Setup
- Click on 'My Computer' and select 'Dial-up Networking'
- Click 'Make New Connection'
- Type 'Host Europe' and click 'Next'
- Enter 0845 604 4026 in the telephone number field and click 'Next'
- Use any User Name and Password you want!
- You are now ready to dial Host Europe Connect.
Windows XP
- On your Desktop right click 'My Network Places' and select 'Properties'
- Click 'Create a New Connection' and click 'Next'
- From the four options select 'Connect to the Internet' and click 'Next'
- In the next box select 'Set up my connection manually' and click 'Next'
- From the three options select 'Connect using a dial-up modem' and click 'Next'
- Enter the ISP name as 'Host Europe' and click 'Next'
- Enter the phone number 0845 604 4026 and click 'Next'
- Enter your username as 'HE' and your password as 'HE' and tick all three boxes, click 'Next'.
- You are now ready to dial Host Europe Connect.
